Welcome to our Community Page. I want to try to provide links to other web sites that you may find useful, general information links and links to outside events. Please use this page to tell us about forthcoming events that you may be involved in and if you want, let me have some details and I can put them on here. Do you belong to a club or group or whatever and you have a fund raising event coming up. Why not tell us about it here. It won’t cost you anything so give it a try. What have you got to lose?
Do you know of a group or groups that can provide help for different problems. Perhaps you may have direct knowledge of these groups and feel that they could possibly help others. Why not let us know.
Some useful links to start with
The Kent Resource Directory is a web site packed with information for and about young people.
Find out all about climate change and how it may affect us all in the future
This web site is well worth a visit. It is packed with photos of old (and not so old) Thanet plus handy information
Thousands of shells stuck in the walls of an underground cavern in Margate.
Very historical and well worth a visit.
Below are a few useful telephone numbers that could be needed in an emergency. These are taken from the ‘Kent Connects’ web site which as I said above is a web site well worth visiting. You will find lots more ‘phone numbers there so have a look.
Click the link here to go to our page for the Thanet Children’s Centres. You will find addresses and information that could be helpful at some time or another.
Our Local Traders page
For a while now we have had a page on this web site where local businesses can advertise. It costs them nothing and so far several businesses have in fact placed an advert here. If you know of any one who may be interested then let them know. It will cost them nothing and the advert can stay for as long as they want. Click the link to ‘Local Traders’
Do you really need to ring 999?
...and also don’t forget that if you have information that you feel could be useful to others let me know and I can add it here
